To help keep its new product releases hype-worthy, Lootcrate would announce a theme in advance of each monthly subscription box, which often featured a popular character, movie, show, or other figure in pop-culture. Digital ad placements surrounded each announcement, with a cohesive package of social media posts, display ads, emails, and website banners, all featuring licensed artwork. The more expensive the box, the more detailed the licensed assets.
